Sophie has extensive experience in the international auction market, most recently working at Sotheby's in the Old Master and 19^th Century Paintings departments, where she played an integral role in the research, sourcing, and sale of works across major auctions. Highlights include her involvement in the landmark auctions from the collection of Freddie Mercury.

Prior to this, Sophie spent four years at Roseberys Auctioneers, gaining broad expertise across the Old Master, European & British Art and Modern British Art departments. During this time, she was closely involved in the expansion of the specialist departments. Sophie studied History of Art at the University of Warwick, where she spent four months studying in Venice, focusing on Italian Renaissance and Baroque art movements.

Sophie specialises in 18^th and 19^th Century British art, Italian Renaissance and Orientalist art, she hopes to expand these areas in the tri-annual Old Master & 19^th Century Art sales at Chiswick Auctions.
