MAXINE WINNING
HEAD OF DESIGN & CONTEMPORARY
Maxine Winning is an auctioneer and valuer with nearly a decade of experience in the international auction industry, specialising in twentieth-century design, decorative arts and interiors. Her interest in art and design began at an early age and was further developed through her studies at the University of the Arts London.
Before joining Chiswick Auctions, Maxine held senior roles in Australia and the UK, including managing the Objects Department at Australian auction house Leonard Joel. She later spent a year at Dawsons Auctioneers as Senior Valuer and London Office Manager.
At Chiswick Auctions, Maxine leads the 20th Century Design department, overseeing the valuation and sale of furniture, lighting and objects spanning Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern and post-war design. She works closely with private clients, collectors and estates, providing clear, market-led advice on valuation, consignment and auction strategy.
Maxine is known for her considered approach, attention to detail and strong understanding of current market trends, ensuring each consignment is positioned to achieve the best possible result.
