Alongside our involvement in The Gavel Art Trail and Auction, Chiswick Auctions is delighted to be running a charity raffle to raise even more funds for three extraordinary causes: The Brain Tumour Charity, The National Brain Appeal and the International Children’s Palliative Care Network (ICPCN).
Our raffle features 15 fantastic prizes generously donated by friends and partners, from luxury experiences to unique gifts. Each ticket is your chance to win something wonderful while making a real difference. The raffle will run until the 6th November, and has a limited number of tickets so be sure to get them before they are gone!
Our gavel for the Art Trail has been designed by British artist Helena Traill. It depicts Winkworth Arboretum in Surrey, a place deeply meaningful to Helena and her late father, and will be on view at The Barley Mow Centre in Chiswick from 1 September to 31 October 2025. Online bidding opens on 1 September, with the final charity auction on 6 November.
Inspired by Helena’s moving contribution, we wanted to add another way for our community to get involved, and that is where the raffle comes in.
We are aiming to raise at least £3,500, which will cover the manufacture of the gavel itself. With the quality of prizes on offer, we are confident we can raise much more, with every additional pound going directly to the charities. This is part of our wider fundraising commitment alongside the auction.

Join us in helping to raise funds for three important organisations that support research, treatment and care for people affected by brain conditions worldwide
This project is particularly close to the heart of Ellie Smith, one of our specialists here at Chiswick Auctions, who has long supported The Brain Tumour Charity. Like Helena, Ellie knows first-hand the importance of research, care and awareness for those affected, and she has been instrumental in driving this initiative forward for Chiswick Auctions.
