'Faberge' , extraordinary silver, vertu and works of art - 23rd March

23/02/2010     Chiswick Curates

Chiswick Auctions is looking forward to an unusually good 'Fine' sale on 23rd March.

We have 18pc of very fine enamelled 'Faberge' marked silver and gold.  Whilst not by the master himself, this is very good quality Russian work, set with diamonds and other precious stones.
The sale has a huge silver section of other good British items, including a large silver gilt punch bowl, a George IV silver gilt toast rack (the ultimate in bling!) and many many other unusual items.
As well as silver, there is a large bronze section, ceramics including Swansea, Meissen, Minton - to name but a few.  Some exceptional pictures....

Another 'post' will be sent out to subscribers in the next week or so - if you would like to enter something into this sale - the closing dates for entries is the end of this week!

If you would like to be posted a fully illustrated colour catalogue in advance of the sale, please telephone the office and order one via Dawn - price £5.00
