A leather-bound album containing approx. 100 albumen print cartes-de-visite of women, image sizes 9 x 5.7cm. Comprised primarily of singular portraits of women by Fradelle & Leach (91), active 1870-1872. Subjects include Miss Annie Churchill, Miss Lady Wilson, Miss Emma Chambers, Miss Maude Middelton. Together with a loose carte-de-visite portraiting American theatre actress Mary Anderson (1859-1940) by W&D Downey, London. Housed in a leather bound album with gilt decorations.
