A large antique fine Yezd carpet, south Persia

Approx: 525cm. x 343cm. Great example for this type with beautifully drawn design and very good colour combination. Apart of minute wear to the top pile in one or two very small palces, barely visible, this carpet has very good pile, soft and lustrous wool quality. Ends original with kilim and fringes. Selvages are also original. In general, this carpet is in very good usable condition. Very good furnishing piece. Attractive.
