A pair of bronze door handles, early 20th century

each modelled as putto merman wrestling with a grotesque fish, over acanthus leave detail and reeded curvature, the upper section with circular screw back, the lower section with screw recess apparently unsigned

Note: Reputedly from the original Lloyds building designed by Edwin Cooper and completed in 1928.

Dimensions: each 27.5cm high, 10cm wide
