Notes:

Jonas Wood is an American painter known for his vibrant, graphic style—especially his works depicting interiors, still lifes, houseplants, portraits, and sports imagery. He studied psychology and painting, and earned his MFA from the University of Washington. Wood lives and works in Los Angeles, where his studio practice includes working from collage, photographs, and sketches to build up compositions that both flatten and play with space. His work draws on art historical precedents (such as Matisse, Hockney, and Picasso) but blends them with very personal and domestic imagery—from ceramics made by his wife Shio Kusaka to the collection of artworks he inherited from his grandfather.
