A Continental gilded white metal model of a barrel form carriage and horses
Probably Austro-Hungarian, circa 1900

Formed as a barrel on four wheels and pulled by two horses with green enamel saddle blankets, the barrel decorated all over with green enamel grape leaves and groups of grapes formed of pearls and coral coloured beads, with a driver to the front and two putto to the top, a removable hanging basket to both sides, the rear with a spigot mounted with a putto, mounted on a rectangular ebonised wood base, the model apparently unmarked.
