A very fine silk Kashmir prayer rug, north India

Approx: 184cm. x 126cm. Very nicely drawn prayer design with various polychrome floral motifs and cloud-bands. Colours are well balanced. This rug has full pile, soft and shiny silk quality. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. Very fine weave, approx: 8 x 8 knots per sq. cm. In general, this rug is in very good condition throughout. Very good example for this type. Elegant piece.
