An unusual antique Karaja rug, north-west Persia

Approx: 193cm. x 155cm. Great overall design, rather unusual for this type with stylised bold multicoloured palmettes, angular floral and hooked leaf vine. Very good colour combination. This rug has very good pile. Selvages original with touches of rebound on cord, well done. Selvages with short fringes, secured. In general, this rug is in very good condition. Attractive and nice furnishing piece.
