A fine Sarouk carpet, west Persia

Approx: 308cm. x 211cm. Very nice example for this type with very elegant design of angular arabesques, bold palmettes and central palmette design medallion. Very good colour combination. This carpet has very good pile throughout, soft and lustrous wool quality. Selvages original. Ends with original fringes as well. In general, this carpet is in very good condition. Great furnishing piece. Attractive.
