A very fine part silk Tabriz carpet, north-west Persia

Approx: 305cm. x 205cm. Very good type with very nicely drawn design of delicate scrolling floral and leafy vine around concentric arabesque medallion with pendants. Very good colour combination with soft rust field. This carpet has full pile, soft and lustrous wool quality together with silk usedd on the field, medallion and borders design. Very fine weave, approx: 8 x 7 knots per sq. cm. Selvages original. Ends with original fringes, secured. In general, this carpet is in very good condition throughout. Elegant and very good frunishing piece.
