A very fine part silk Nain carpet, central Persia

Approx: 270cm. x 175cm. Unusual, rather contemporary field design with well drawn motifs and well balanced colours. This carpet has full pile, very soft and lustrous wool. Very fine weave, approx: 9 x 9 knots per sq. cm. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. In general, this carpet is in very good condition throughout. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
