An album of 51 hand-coloured albumen prints, image sizes 19.7 x 25.6 cm (or the reverse), mostly numbered and captioned in the negative. Subjects include views of renowned landmarks and cities across Japan, such as Takinogawa; Uyeno; a Sacred Bridge at Nikko; the Yomeimon Gate at Nikko; Yokohama Bay; a view of the Mount Fuji; Kyoto; among others. The album also includes five prints attributed to Studio of Kusakabe Kimbei (1841-1934), depicting young women in traditional clothes in studio portraits and genre scenes. Housed in black lacquered-wooden boards.
