These lithographs were produced as inserts for Paintings and Writings, a catalogue published to accompany the exhibition of fifteen paintings at Pace Gallery, New York. The lithographs reproduce these paintings and are printed on fine vellum paper, one of Martin’s preferred materials. This paper lends itself to the fine line of her work and emphasises its subtle colour palette; its almost translucent quality makes the prints feel akin to her graphite drawings, capturing the delicate and minimal nature of the work.
