Daguerreian Jewelry, c.1860

A group of three ornamental pendants featuring five daguerreotypes. Comprising one locket featuring two side-by-side portraits, one a lightly hand-tinted daguerreotype of a man leaning on a table, with a book in his left hand, and on the other side, a woman with a white lace bonnet, housed in a decorated silver oval locket, measuring 5.5cm. Together with a single daguerreotype portrait of a man, possibly a mouring portrait, housed in an oval brooch with black and gilt Greek key decorations, measuring 5.5cm; and two lightly hand-tinted Daguerreotype portraits of a man and woman, housed front/back in a circular hinged pocket-watch style locket, measuring 3.8cm.
