A fine Bakhtiari large rug, west Persia

Approx: 254cm. x 154cm. Very nicely drawn Garden design with unusual addition of animal figures and various birds. Colours are well balanced. This rug has full pile, soft and lustrous wool quality. Selvages original. One end with original kilim. Other end with short fringes, secured. In general, this rug is in very good condition throughout. Very attractive end elegant piece.
