A fine Heriz carpet, north-west Persia

Approx: 222cm. x 192cm. Well drawn design with bold hooked double medallion and linked sandy-yellow florla spandrels, surrounded by stylised turtle-palmette border. This carpet has full pile, very soft wool quality. Ends with short fringes, secured. Selvages original. In general, this carpet is in very good condition. Very good square size, sought after on the market. Elegant and and very good furnishing piece.
