A fine Sarouk rug, west Persia

Approx: 200cm. x 127cm. Classic for this type with very good design and well balanced colours. This rug has full pile, soft and lustrous wool quality. Selvages rebound, very well done. Ends with short fringes, secured. Fine weave, approx: 6 x 6 knots per sq. cm. one or two very small old repairs, barel visible on the face of the rug. In general, this rug is in very good condition. Elegant and attractive piece.
