A fine antique Kirman Laver carpet, south Persia

Approx:325cm. x 279cm. Very good type seldom found in the sales. Very good design and colour combination on ivory field. This carpet has good pile throughout, soft wool quality. Selvages original, touches of light fraying on one side in few small places. Ends with short fringes. Fine weave, 7 x 7 knots per sq.cm. In general, this carpet is in very good condition. Very good square size, sought after on the market. Very attractive and great furnishing piece.
