A Queen Anne Britannia standard silver tablespoon, London 1703 by Edward Gibson (free. 14th Nov 1690)

Trefid pattern, probably converted from Dognose pattern. Oval bowl with moulded rat tail heel. The terminal engraved with contemporaneous initials A*G in Roman script. Fully marked.

Length – 19.7 cm / 7.75 inches

Weight – 43 grams / 1.38 ozt
