A fine part silk Nain carpet, central Persia

Approx: 261cm. x 167cm. Very good type with unusual design and well balanced soft pastel colours. This carpet has full pile, very soft wool quality, together with part silk used on the field and borders. Very fine weave, approx: 8 x 7 knots per sq. cm. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes. In general, this carpet is in very good condition. Attractive and very good furnshing piece.
