A fine Bakhtiari rug, west Persia

Approx: 202cm. x 149cm. Very good example from Bakhtiari weaving. Well drawn design with well balanced colours.This rug has very good pile, soft wool quality. Selvages original. One end with original kilim and fringes. Other end with short fringes, secured. Tight weave, approx: 6 x 5 knots per sq. cm. In general, this rug is in very good condition. Elegant and very good furnishing piece.
