An extremely fine silk Qum rug, central Persia

Approx: 156cm. x 104cm. Very nicely drawn floral design and well balanced colours with soft ivory field. This rug has full pile, soft and shiny silk. Extremely fiine weave, approx: 10 x 10 knots per sq. cm; woven on silk foundation. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. In general, this rug is is very good condition throughout. Attractive and sought aftet type on the market.
