A very fine silk Hereke prayer rug, Turkey

Approx: 120cm. x 75cm. Very good exampe for this type with soft pastel colours and ver nicely drawn design. This rug has full pile, very soft and shiny silk. Very fine weave, approx; 9 x 8 knots per sq. cm; woven on silk foundation. Selvages original. Ends with original short kilim and fringes. In general, this rug is in very good condition. Elegant and sought after type on the market.
