Autograph letter from a representative of Miguel Iglesias & Son, a firm of assessory in Moorgate Street, London, addressed to William Broad & Sons, Lloyds Agents at Falmouth, who previously advised the underwriter to make an offer of £300 for the "Cassandra wreck" to cover ship, freight and cargo, also adding "We trust you may be able thus to arrange this matters with the owners of the 'Dolphin'. as we cannot advise the underwriters to go beyond this sum without having a fight for it", one page, integral blank, 4to, 9 King's Arms Yards, Morrgate Street, London, 27 Janiary 1871.
