A fine Qum rug, central Persia

Approx: 223cm. x 193cm. Unusual design with diagonal rows of stylised floral boteh motifs surrounded by angular floral and leafy fine. Well balanced colours with soft ivory field. This rug has full pile, soft wool quality. Fine weave, approx: 7 x 6 knots per sq. cm. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. In general, this rug is in very good condition. Elegant and good furnishing piece.
