An antique Kirman Laver carpet, south Persia

Approx: 395cm. x 283cm. Very good type with very elegant multicoloured design of flowering trees and various birds. This carpet has localized wear, down to collar know and below on border and outer stripes also few small areas on the field. Ends with short fringes. Selvages original with fraying on cord edges in few small places. All reflects in an estimate. Despite imperfections, this carpet still shows an elegance and guality of weaving.
