A fine part silk Nain carpet, central Persia

Approx: 236cm. x 155cm. Very elegant and unsusl Garden design. Very well balanced colours. Bold appearance. This carpet has full pile, soft and lustrous wool quality together with part silk used on the field and borders. Fine weave, approx: 7 x 7 knots per sq, cm. Selvages original. Ends with fringes, secured. In general, this carpet is in very good condition throughout. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
