A fine Sarouk carpet, west Persia

Approx: 288cm. x 193cm. Very nice example for this type with well drawn overall floral design and very good colour combination. This carpet has full pile, soft wool quality. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. Tiny loss on the edge of one corner, barely visible. Dry glue deposit on the back along the edges where secure tape was attached years ago. It doesn't affect pile condition. In general, this carpet is in very good usable condition. Elegant and very good furnishing piece.
