Antique George III Sterling Silver pomander probably by Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1797. Of spherical form with a screw fastening joining both halves, with pierced and engraved decoration. No maker’s mark is decipherable, though the most likely candidate for manufacture if Samuel Pemberton. Diameter 2.9cm / 1.1”. Silver weight 11g / 0.35 troy oz.
