A Victorian sterling silver milk jug, London 1856 by Edward & John Barnard
Of rounded form with a scroll section handle with textured thumbpiece. The body wit profusely embossed decoration of C scroll and flower heads against a textured ground, each side with an asymmetrical rocaille C scroll cartouche. One side engraved with a crest of a lion rampant holding between the paws a boar's head. Gilt interior. Fully marked underneath and with numerals 130.
