An album of 41 mixed albumen prints and early silver prints, image sizes 6.5 x 11cm (smallest) to 24 x 19.3cm (largest), most captioned and dated in ink lower margin. Photographers include James Valentine, Francis Frith & Co., and an anonymous amateur signed J.A.F.
Subjects include images of British villages, such as Knaresborough; Shifton Castle; and views of Yorkshire, among others. Together with a group of landscape views of the Cornish Coast and the Isles of Scilly.
The album also includes a group of five watercolours, depicting the Cornish coast, each measuring 11.5 x 25cm.
