Mason & Payne’s Popular Map of London, highly detailed folding map of late Victorian London, titled above and with a key below, showing all the railway termini and indicating the District and Metropolitan railways, the stations named in red, the key also indicating tram lines, postal boundaries, cemeteries and parks, extending from Upper Holloway to Brixton, and from Acton to West Ham, lithographed map printed in colours, 645 x 1050 mm (25 3/8 x 41 1/4 in), dissected and linen-backed, minor surface abrasion affecting upper left corner of border, otherwise in good clean condition, advertisement panel pasted on verso, upper right corner, folding into publishers’ pictorial cloth boards, rubbed and sunned, pictorial label with a small hole, some soiling, 8vo, Mason & Payne, [c.1887]
