A very fine part silk Tabriz runner, north-west Persia

Approx: 312cm. x 84cm. Good type with nicely drawn design and very good colour combination. Nice pastel apperance, unusual for this type. This runner has full pile, soft wool quality, together with part silk used on the field and border. Very fine weaave, approx: 8 x 7 knots per sq. cm. Selvages original. Ends with original fringes, secured. In general, this runner is in very good condition throughout. Veey good furnishing size. Attraactive piece.
