The well-potted bowl decorated in famille-rose palette throughout, the interior decorated with swimming carp amidst algae and lotus flowers enclosed within an elaborate stylised border around the rim punctuated by large lotus blossoms and prunus flowerheads, the exterior decorated with a continous figural scene depicting fishermen in the water as other figures relax on a grassy mound, all within a rocky landscape dotted with foliage
