A fine part silk Nain carpet, central Persia

Approx: 266cm. x 177cm. Great example for this type with beautifully drawn design and very good colour combination. This carpet has full pile, very soft and lustrous wool together with part silk on field and borders design. Extremely fine weave, approx; 10 x 9 knots per sq. cm. Selvages original. Ends with original short kilim and fringes. In gneral, this carpet is in very good condition throughout. Very attractive and elegant piece.
