A colour-change sapphire and diamond ring, circa 1925
White metal

The cushion-cut colour-change sapphire weighing approx 9.50 carats, to trifurcated shoulders set with by a rose-cut diamonds on each side, decorated with millegrain and engravings, mounted in white metal, ring size H, unmarked, accompanied by a case by Ogden, Harrogate

A verbal result was obtained from GCS stating that the colour-change sapphire is of Sri Lankan origin, with no indications of heating
