The heavily-potted vase of flattened form supported by a short tapered foot, painted to each side with a solitary bird reaching for clusters of ripe pomegranates sprouting from leafy branches, set with curved strap handles each decorated with a single stylised lotus flower, rising to a bulbous neck with a thin band of blossoms borne from undulating leafy stems
