Autograph letter signed ("Abert"), written a few days before his wedding to Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, reading "Dear Mr Lancelot, I hope you won’t mind my calling you by this name; but I know what a friend you are of Elizabeth and her family, I am writing to thank you ever so much for giving me the delightful little picture of Queen Victoria for a wedding present. I cannot thank you enough as it is so very nice of you and I am so pleased to have it. It is so nice to think we shall be such near neighbours in future", two pages, folding marks, light soiling, 4to (23 x 17.5cm), Buckingham Palace, 22 April 1923.
