A Charles II silver snuff or spice box, probably London circa 1680 by PR crowned
Of squeeze action oval form with a hinged lid, the top with engraved decoration of townscape, the underside with foliate scrolls, the sides with engraved herringbone lies, the ends with rosettes. Maker’s mark only to the interior.
Length – 4 cm / 1.55 inches
Weight – 14 grams / 0.45 ozt
