A French Louis XVI style gilt bronze mantel clock
Late 19th / Early 20th century

the portico case is surmounted by an urn-form pediment draped with cast floral and fruit swags.
The circular with a white enamel dial features blue Roman numerals and delicate pierced gilt hands set within a beaded bezel, striking on a bell. Flanked by a pair of fluted Corinthian columns resting on a breakfront base. The lower frieze is richly decorated with scrolling acanthus leaves and central floral motifs, all supported by five turned toupie feet.
