Pforzheim 1910, import marks for London 1913 by George Stockwell
An early 20th century German 935 standard silver and guilloche enamel table snuff box

Of rectangular form, with bombé sides. The hinged lid topped with white translucent enamel, depicting an 18th century courtship scene of gentleman offering a flower garland to a lady, within a beech tree and rose flower cartouche, with further border bands of pink enamel and flowers. The sides engraved with vignettes and rosettes. Gilt interior. German assay mark and 935 to lid bezel, import marks to the base.
