A fine Afshar rug, south-west Persia

Approx: 200cm. x 150cm. Very good overall design with multicoloured serrated linked lozenge panles containing various angular floral motifs. Very good colour combination. This rug has very good pile, soft and lustrous wool. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and short fringes. In general, this rug is in very good condition. Very good furnishing size. Elegant and nice example from Afshar tribe.
