A 19th century French gilt metal mounted onyx portico clock

the enamel dial inscribed Planchon, Paris, with black Arabic numerals and pierced gilt hands, the movement set within an architectural portico case surmounted by an urn finial and flanked by twin tiers with urn mounts, raised on four columns, the whole enriched with gilt metal mounts in the form of foliate swags and classical ornament, on a stepped rectangular base with applied mounts and toupie feet.
