A late 17th century German silver charger, Augsburg circa 1680 by Abraham Waremberger (active 1664-1703/04)
Of circular form with a crimpled edge, the broad rim with three embossed classical male busts in circular cartouches interspersed with bouquets of fruit and laurel branches. The recessed hexafoil centre with engraved bouquet and fruiting vine. Foot deficient. Marked with town mark and makers mark (Rosenberg 641) to edge.
