A FRENCH GILT BRONZE FIGURAL MANTLE CLOCK, 19TH CENTURY AND LATER, the bias case with a reclining figure of Urania, the classical muse of astronomy, the base with moulded scrolling feet with floral and foliate decoration, the later silvered dial with black Roman numerals, the twin train movement with outside countwheel later coverted to platform escapement, striking the full and half hours on a bell, stamped 'Japy Freres' and numbered '2290'.
