A LARGE BOHEMIAN RUBY GLASS VASE MADE FOR THE PERSIAN MARKET, late 19th Century, of faceted baluster form with a scalloped foot, enamelled in colours and gilding with scroll- and strapwork decoration amongst sprays of flowers including roses and tulips, embellished with tooled silver dolphins and scrollwork, 32cm high (typical minor flaking to enamel decoration in places) PROVENANCE:  Ex-Sotheby's sale label to the base.
