A late 18th century Dutch silver fish slice, Den Bosch 1770 by Franciscus Herle (active 1744-1798)
Hanoverian pattern, virginal, the broadly rectangular spatula blade with pierced decoration of foliate scrolls, sprays between clusters of lozenges Marked to the stem, date letter W script crowned, makers mark FH, later Dutch control mark (1927-53).
